FEES

Free Consultation — $0 20-30 minutes. A conversation about what you're looking for and whether we're a good fit. [Schedule here →]

Individual Session — $230 60-75 minutes / up to 90 minutes for the initial intake. Ongoing one-on-one therapy. Telehealth throughout FL, PA & SC, or in-person in South Sarasota County, Florida.

Couples Session — $260 60-75 minutes / up to 90 minutes for the initial intake. Relationship counseling for couples navigating conflict, transition, communication, or deepening connection.

A note on session length: insurance companies typically reimburse for a 45-minute session. In my experience, that's simply not enough time - especially for the kind of deep, holistic work we do together. Sessions run 60-75 minutes, because real progress takes real time.

WHY I DON'T TAKE INSURANCE

I know choosing a therapist who doesn't take insurance may raise questions. And I want to be upfront about that, because you deserve to understand the decision before you even think about booking with me.

I am passionate about helping my clients surpass any limitation and become the best version of themselves. That kind of work requires space, trust, and freedom, none of which insurance is designed to protect.

When a therapist works within the insurance system, a third party gets a seat at the table. They require a formal diagnosis to justify your care. They decide how many sessions you're allowed. They limit how long each session can be. They can request access to your clinical notes. They get to weigh in on what approaches are "approved." That's not a therapeutic relationship, that's managed care.

Your healing doesn't need to be approved by anyone.

When we work together, we decide how often to meet, how long we need, and what to focus on. I can bring in evidence-based approaches alongside mindfulness, energy work, and metaphysical modalities, without waiting for a green light from a claims department. And everything that happens between us stays between us, completely.

This is therapy the way it's meant to be: holistic, collaborative, and entirely yours.

Insurance vs High Note

With Insurance

  • Diagnosis required to approve your care

  • Sessions capped at 45 minutes

  • Session limits set by your plan

  • Insurer can access your clinical notes

  • Approved approaches only

With High Note

  • No required diagnosis on your record

  • 60-75 min sessions - time to actually go deep

  • No session limits - we move at your pace

  • Complete confidentiality - no third party access, ever

  • Holistic and evidence-based -  whatever serves you

A Note About Superbills

I can provide a monthly superbill, a detailed receipt you submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. I want to be transparent with you about what that means before you choose this option.

Please know: I cannot guarantee that your insurance will reimburse you. Reimbursement depends entirely on your individual plan, your deductible, and your insurer's policies.

IMPORTANT: Superbills require a diagnosis, which becomes part of your insurance record. By choosing this option, your insurance company may also request access to your therapy notes in order to justify treatment. The choice is entirely yours, and I'll support whatever you decide. I just want you to make it with full information.

HOW OUT-OF-NETWORK REIMBURSEMENT WORKS

Some insurance plans include out-of-network mental health benefits, meaning you pay me directly, then submit a superbill to your insurer for possible reimbursement. Here's how that process works:

1. Call your insurance provider
Ask whether you have out-of-network mental health benefits, what your deductible is, and what percentage they may reimburse.

2. Book and attend your sessions
Pay the session fee at the time of each appointment.

3. Request a superbill
I provide a monthly superbill with the billing codes your insurer needs.

4. Submit and await a decision
Send it to your insurer. Reimbursement is possible but not guaranteed — it depends entirely on your plan. Any reimbursement approved goes directly to you.

A limited number of pay-what-you-can spots

I hold a small number of reduced fee openings for clients experiencing financial hardship. These spots work on a pay-what-you-can basis. You name a fee that is honest and sustainable for you, and we handle that conversation with full respect and zero judgment.

Cost should not be the reason someone goes without support. If you're interested, reach out directly. All inquiries are completely confidential.

As of January 1, 2022, state-licensed or certified health care providers need to give a Good Faith Estimate of healthcare charges to every new and continuing client who is either uninsured or is not planning to submit a claim to their insurance for the healthcare services they seek.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a
copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

This Good Faith Estimate does not account for late cancellations, no-show fees, crisis sessions, non-therapeutic charges, case management fees, court litigation fees, or other financial arrangements determined on a case by case basis. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
